Below is a statement from Ruben's Management regarding his Catalina Hotel show:

Please be advised that tonight's show at the Catalina has been canceled, but you can still catch Ruben in concert THIS Saturday December 15th at THE OFFICE located at 2701 Collins Ave., Miami Beach! He takes the stage promptly at 9pm and asks everyone who can come to please be there no later than 8:30pm.

Because of this development we are still selling tickets to the after party (w/o T-shirts) with him until NOON on the 15th. All who have already paid will be honored! The show itself is still free to all. For more information on the club you can visit The Office Club's MySpace page by HERE! We hope to see YOU there!

In the coming week, Ruben's management team will be traveling to Miami on "official business" for Ruben. That is all we can say at the moment on this matter.

Also, Ruben's management team, has delegated some further duties to the webmaster (that's me!) because their plate is piling up with other matters to attend. I have officially been given the role of public relations as well. So, for those of you who wish to contact me with your questions or concerns regarding Ruben, please send me an email. Ruben wanted all of you to know the latest news on the Brazil appearance. So...in his own words:"I recently hung out with Angelo. We listened to his new album and I liked it. I gave him great reviews; especially liked his songs "Cool" and "Caramelo". We started to make plans to come to Brazil for a show, hopefully this year where he will sing some of his new songs for the fans in Brazil. " Also, here is a photo of the two of them together:

Lasik Eye Procedure

Ruben had Lasik perfomed on both eyes. The procedure was sponsored by TV Fama and done by ADAMO LUI NETTO / JOHNATAN CLIVE LAKE. He is recovering well. When asked what he thought of it he said "It was a little scary! They put a metal object in your eye to hold it open and then tell you to just look at the red light!"
